My recent project on
quilling ear rings. For the first time, I’ve tried making Jhumkas. In January,
my dad gifted me 3 new dresses and I picked the colour combination from them. I’ve already
wore them to work. I’m eagerly waiting for the sophisticated plier that my
sister has sent to make more such ear rings..

Quilling blossomed branches
Well..It’s been really
long since I posted anything on my blog. That doesn’t mean that I’ve put a
pause. It’s a matter of delay in uploading the posts. Well, it was a Sunday and
India-Pakistan world cup cricket match is on and India is really doing well..of
course the winning chances are wavering. Perfect time and out of this excitement, I
decided to do something using the quilled flowers that are lying with me from
some time. Well, I’ve quilled these flowers with something else in my mind and
looks like I’m never going to do it. So, let me atleast use them in making a
branch fully blossomed. I’ve used crepe paper for the leaves..I like the rough
texture they provide J And to bring some life, I’ve put couple of lady-bugs.

Ear rings project on Republic day
It is 26th
January. As sun rises in the east, I could hear the patriotic songs from the
community hall which is just opposite to our home. Yes. It is republic day.
Just felt like quilling something quickly before I join there for flag
hoisting..A couple of ear rings and a small rose bunch inspired by the tri
color flag..Here they are:

Old wine in new bottle
The peacock was made in summer and I left it like that..One day, when I saw it lying on the floor and about to be torn into 3 pieces, my heart almost melted. I still remember the effort I put into this. Decided to frame it and hence made this back-ground. It is finally behind the glass, hanging prettily in my drawing room..
